Welcome to Our Project

Archaeologies of the Norman Conquest is an AHRC-funded research network organized by the University of York, the University of Nottingham, and Norwich Castle Museum. Through a series of workshops, publications, and outreach activities, the network aims to revitalize the archaeology of the 11th and 12th centuries and facilitate academic, professional, and public engagement with the material culture of this period.
